As one of Queensland’s earliest nature-based tourist destinations, the Sanctuary is a physical embodiment of everything the NTAQ represents: to conserve and advance our natural and cultural heritage for future generations. Demi Chef – CasualWe’re on the lookout for a motivated Casual Demi Chef to join our vibrant kitchen team at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. This is a great opportunity for someone with solid kitchen experience who is eager to grow and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.As a Demi Chef, you'll assist in preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes in a specific section such as grill, sauce, or pastry. Demi Chef – Casual
We’re on the lookout for a motivated Casual Demi Chef to join our vibrant kitchen team at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. This is a great opportunity for someone with solid kitchen experience who is eager to grow and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

As a Demi Chef, you'll assist in preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes in a specific section such as grill, sauce, or pastry. You’ll help ensure high food quality, maintain hygiene standards, and support junior kitchen staff, all while contributing to a smooth and efficient service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understanding of kitchen health and safety regulations

  • Able to perform under pressure in a busy service setting

  • Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays
